Another tunnel project in western Sweden
Trafsys will deliver most of the Intelligent Transportation Systems to the Uddevalla Tunnels in close collaboration with Bravida Sweden, our customer. Our scope of delivery includes the SCADA and PLC-based control systems as well as systems for incident detection (AID), surveillance (CCTV) and telephony.
The Uddevalla Tunnels consists of two road tunnels on the national highway (riksväg) 44 on the outskirts of Uddevalla with traffic in the west/eastern direction: The Kärra Tunnel in the west and Sörvik Tunnel in the east. The tunnels are 380 and 230 meters long, respectively, with separate tunnel pipes for each traffic direction.
